The municipality of Bergamo hires Sergè, an ambitious videomaker, to produce a short social media video with a greenwashing slant, in which he reviews the best parking lots in the city. Joining him are a cameraman and Giovanni, a clumsy and expressionless young engineer, tasked with reinforcing the idea that concrete is an environmentally friendly material. The first results of the shoot are rejected by the Bergamo municipal representative, who finds the videos boring, complains about the lack of interviews with parking attendants, and—seized by anger—orders Sergè to stop filming and go home. Sergè, the only one aware of the producer’s order, drags the others into continuing the shoot, trying to overplay his enthusiasm to make the video more entertaining. But this behavior leads him to a schizophrenic dissociation from the other two, ultimately turning violent. A journalist and his assistant find themselves assigned to cover a story on the best parking lots in the Bergamo area—a grotesque and absurd task that turns out to be more complicated than expected.
